Are you someone who likes to lead and possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills? A degree in business management can provide you with numerous career opportunities. This major may be for you if you are a strong and motivating communicator who thrives in a team environment.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for management is projected to grow by nine percent from 2020 to 2030. A business management degree prepares students to lead employees and motivate productive employees. The program also equips students with other management-related skills that can be applied to real-world situations. Students develop skills related to critical thinking and communication. Hands-on approaches are utilized in preparation for a business career. Students will practice working in teams, negotiating, resolving conflict, preparing a business plan and presenting to an audience.

For transfer students the Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) is a flexible, individually tailored degree for students pursuing a vocational, technical or associate degree. Coursework for these degrees build on workplace skills and practical career training provided by an associate degree. Students may find a B.A.S. appealing for the following reasons:
